Latisse lashes

Comments & ratings on the side effects, benefits, and effectiveness of Latisse base of the eyelashes.

How often should you use eyelash serum? Most eyelash growth serums say to use them daily, and as a general rule of thumb, you should follow the directions on the package. It’s recommended that you keep using your lash serum regularly to maintain your new growth. When you stop using eyelash serums, your lashes will likely return to their pre-serum state as the treated eyelashes complete their hair growth cycle and fall out. Latisse lash growth serum Latisse® is available only by prescription, and a Charleston plastic surgeon is one doctor that can provide you with a prescription. Latisse® eyelash growth serum is just one of the many treatments we can provide. In addition to Latisse®, we also offer the following spa services:

You may see new eyelashes popping out as early as one month after you begin using Latisse™. However, to experience the full effects, you need to apply the serum daily for a minimum of two months. Also, your enhanced eyelashes will only last as long as you continue to use the medication. If you stop applying Latisse™, the time it took for your eyelashes to grow into a beautiful, full fringe is about how long it will take to see them return to their original appearance. What Is Latisse, Actually? Just as the practitioner advised, I applied Latisse to my upper lash line (as you would a liquid liner) every single night after my full skincare routine. I also made sure to apply it at least an hour or more before I went to sleep each night so it wouldn't simply rub off on my pillow. (A back sleeper I am not!) I also made sure to clean up any excess product that would start to drip or run off the corner of my eye with a tissue since product runoff is what can cause hair growth in other areas of the eye, and I personally was not in the mood to develop under-eye hair!

For best results, Debra Jaliman, MD, a dermatologist based in New York City, recommends looking for a formula that contains biotin, peptides, or lipids. “Biotin is a B vitamin and helps lashes grow longer and thicker and stimulates the growth of additional eyelash follicles,” she explains. “Lipids condition and moisturize the lashes, and peptides specifically act on the skin cells of lashes to create a healthier foundation and boost volume.” WE HAVE INCORPORATED THESE IN OUR INCREDIBLE FORMULATION. Obagi-C Rx System Normal/Oily Unfortuantely, eye discoloration is a known (although very rare) risk and can be permanent if it happens in blue or light eyes, says Few. That's caused by Latisse's active ingredient, bimatoprost. Few says he’s never actually seen this happen to any of his patients—but you may want to consider skipping Latisse if you have a light eye hue just in case.
